| Allow me to introduce myself: My name is Mario Grillo and I have been in the magazine industry for almost fifteen years. During my time at Crescent Publishing/Blue Horizon Media--publishers of CHERI magazine, High Society magazine and Playgirl--I was involved in all aspects of day-to-day operations.
For the last ten years I was Editor-in-Chief/Executive Editor of HAWK, LIVEyoungGirls, Purely 18 and Finally Legal magazines, during which I ran all four monthly titles simultaneously and supervised a staff of over a dozen people, including art directors and production/pre-press personnel. During this time my annual budgets were in excess of one million dollars.
My relationship with the creative department is something I am most proud of, as I have been an artist my entire life, attending both the High School of Art & Design and SUNY Purchase.
My tenure at Blue Horizon has afforded me the opportunity to gain invaluable experience. I am also adept at all aspects of copywriting, editing and production, as well as record-keeping, editorial feature procurement and photo shoot art direction. Additionally, I have personal relationships with numerous writers and photographers in the adult industry, including J. Stephen Hicks, Kevin Maklin and Earl Miller.
